Paint & Draw Atelier
Paint & Draw Atelier is an independent art school that I run alongside artist Ella Kilgour. Together, we offer a range of oil painting and drawing courses designed to support artists at all stages, from beginners building core skills to those looking to refine and deepen their practice.

Our teaching places a strong emphasis on fundamentals such as structure, proportion, tone, colour, and expressive mark-making.
Alongside our structured courses, we also run monthly life drawing sessions, providing a relaxed and supportive environment to work from the figure regularly.

Adult Workshops 1-1
I run workshops for adults that focus on figure and portrait drawing, with an emphasis on understanding the underlying structure of the body and head, improving observation, and building confident, expressive drawings.
​
I also offer soft pastel figure masterclasses, exploring abstraction, colour temperature, tonal paper, and working at both small and larger scales. These sessions are designed to help participants loosen their approach while strengthening their technical understanding.

Workshops can be half-day or full-day sessions.

1-1 Tuition (Ages 13+)
I offer 1–1 tuition from my studio at the Hotwalls for students aged 13+. These sessions are tailored to the individual and can support a wide range of goals, from improving drawing fundamentals and portrait likeness to building confidence with materials or developing a personal approach to making work.Sessions are structured but flexible, allowing space to focus on specific interests, coursework support, or portfolio development in a calm, supportive environment
